RESOLUTION NO. 10-26-2004-02
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANNA. COLLIN COUNTY,
TEXAS, CORRECTING A SCRIVENER'S ERROR IN ORDINANCE NO. 55-2003
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 55-2003 of the City of Anna, Texas, passed on February 11, 2003, contains
language in Section 1.A stating that the minimum front yard setback requirement is 20 feet; and
WHEREAS, the Minutes of the February 11, 2003 meeting and other documentation indicates that the
city council motion to approve Ordinance No. 55-2003 specifically stated that the minimum front yard
setback requirement is 25 feet; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anna desires to correct the scrivener's error in Ordinance No.
55-2003; now therefore
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANNA, TEXAS, THAT THE PROVISION
IN SECTION 1.A OF ORDINANCE NO, 55.2003 REFERRING TO SETBACKS BE REVISED TO
CHANGE 20 FEET TO 25 FEET AND SHALL READ AS FOLLOWS:
Setbacks:
Minimum front yard — 25 feet; however, covered porches may encroach up to five (5) feet into the
required setback.
Minimum side yard — 5 feet; however, 15 feet shall be required on a corner lot adjacent to a side
street.
Minimum rear yard —15 feet.
DULY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anna, Texas, on the 26th day of October, 2004.
