RESOLUTION NO. 2005-02-02
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE [LEASE] OF TWO POLICE CARS
BY THE CITY OF ANNA, TEXAS THROUGH THE TEXAS BUILDING AND
PROCUREMENT COMMISSION COOPERATIVE PURCHASING PROGRAM.
Findings of the City Council of the City of Anna, Texas:
1. On February 22, 2005, by Resolution No. 2005-02-01, the City Council
authorized the City of Anna's participation in the Texas Building and Procurement
Commission Cooperative Purchasing Program; and
2. Philpott Motor Company is currently under contract with the Texas
Building and Procurement Commission Cooperative Purchasing Program.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANNA, TEXAS:
1. That the City Administrator or his designee is hereby authorized to
purchase [lease] Two Police cars from Philpott Motor Company through the Texas
Building and Procurement Commission Cooperative Purchasing Program in the
estimated amount of $ $24,783.69 a year for three years. Funds are available from the
City of Anna General Fund.
2. The City Administrator or his designee is authorized to execute contracts
and any other necessary documents related to this purchase.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Anna, Texas, by the following vote on February 22,
2005.
