RESOLUTION NO. 2005-09-03
A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE LOCATION AND CONSTRUCTION OF A RAIL
CROSSING AT THE INTERSECTION OF SWEETWATER BOULEVARD AND THE DALLAS
AREA RAPID TRANSIT RAIL UNE
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anna has received and approved a plat for the
Sweetwater Crossing subdivision that includes construction of a rail crossing at the intersection
of Sweetwater Boulevard and the Dallas Area Rapid Transit rail line; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anna has reviewed and considered the location of
the rail crossing and has determined that the crossing is on the City of Anna Thoroughfare Plan;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anna believes the construction of the rail crossing at the
subject location is in the best interests of the City; now therefore
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANNA THAT
Section 1.
The location and construction of the rail crossing at the intersection of Sweetwater Boulevard
and the Dallas Area Rapid Transit rail line is on the City of Anna Thoroughfare Plan and is
hereby approved.
PASSED by the following vote of all members of the City Council as present on this the 27th
day of September, 2005.
