RESOLUTION NO. 2006-02-03
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANNA, COLLIN COUNTY,
TEXAS, AUTHORIZING PARTICIPATION BY CITY OF ANNA IN A TML HEALTH
REIMBURSEMENT ARRANGEMENT PLAN AS PART OF THE CITY'S HEALTH
INSURANCE BENEFIT PACKAGE, AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anna has reviewed the health insurance plan
offered to City employees; and
WHEREAS, A Health Reimbursement Arrangement Plan is now being offered through the
Texas Municipal League health insurance program; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that a Health Reimbursement Arrangement
Plan provides an opportunity for City employees to develop a reserve fund that can be
used for health related expenses at the discretion of the employee;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OFANNA, TEXAS, THAT:
Section 1. The City of Anna, Texas, hereby authorizes the participation of the City in the
Texas Municipal League Intergovernmental Employee Benefits Pool Health
Reimbursement Arrangement (HRA) Plan (the "Plan").
Section 2. The Plan is to provide an amount not to exceed $80.53 per month for each
eligible employee.
Section 3. The City Manager is hereby authorized to sign all documents required to
implement the intent of this Resolution.
Section 4. This Resolution shall become effective from and after its passage
DULY PASSED AND APPROVED THIS 26th DAY OF FEBRUARY, 2006.
