RESOLUTION NO. 2006-07-02
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANNA,
TEXAS, HEREBY AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF TIME WARRANT
NO. 2 ISSUED UNDER AND IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE LOCAL
GOVERNMENT CODE, CHAPTER 252 FOR THE PURCHASE OF A
NEW POLICE CAR AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR OF THE CITY OF
ANNA, TEXAS, TO EXECUTE TIME WARRANT NO. 2.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANNA, TEXAS:
SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Anna, Texas (the "City Council")
hereby authorizes the issuance of Time Warrant No. 2 under and in accordance with the
provisions of the Local Government Code, Chapter 252, and expressly finds that all
acts, conditions and things required by law to be done precedent to and in the issuance
thereof have been property done.
SECTION 2: The Mayor of the City of Anna, Texas, is hereby authorized to
execute, on behalf of the City Council, Time Warrant No. 2 between the City of Anna,
Texas, and the Independent Bank, Anna Branch (the "Bank, a copy of which is
attached hereto as Exhibit A. and incorporated herein for all purposes, and any and all
other documents necessary to consummate this transaction.
SECTION 3: The Mayor of the City of Anna, Texas, is hereby authorized to
provide the Bank copies of the City's annual audit by the City's certified public
accountant or any other financial information deemed necessary by the Bank, upon
written request by the Bank.
SECTION 4: This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its passage.
DULY PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANNA, TEXAS, on this 11th day of July, 2006.
