RESOLUTION NO. 2006-09-04
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANNA,
TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE CITY SECRETARY OF THE CITY OF
ANNA TO ACT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF ANNA REGARDING
UNCLAIMED PROPERTY HELD BY THE TEXAS COMPTROLLER OF
PUBLIC ACCOUNTS AND TO SIGN ALL DOCUMENTS AND PROVIDE
ALL DOCUMENTATION NECESSARY TO CLAIM PROPERTY HELD
BY THE COMPTROLLER THAT MAY BELONG TO THE CITY OF
ANNA.
WHEREAS, the City of Anna has been notified that the Texas Comptroller of Public
Accounts is holding unclaimed property that belongs to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to claim the property held by the Comptroller that
belongs to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Secretary is the City Official responsible for maintaining City
records; now therefore
IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANNA, TEXAS
Section t.
The City Secretary is hereby authorized to act on behalf of the City of Anna regarding
unclaimed property held by the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts that may belong
to the City of Anna.
Section 2.
The City Secretary is hereby authorized to sign all fors and provide all documentation
required to secure property belonging to the City that is hell by the Texas Comptroller
of Public Accounts.
Section 3.
This Resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its passage.
