RESOLUTION No. 2007-07-02
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ANNA, TEXAS, TO ESTABLISH A DRESS CODE
FOR CITY COUNCIL MEMBERS AND THE MAYOR.
WHEREAS, the City Council and Mayor ("Council") are representatives of the City of
Anna,and
WHEREAS, the Council is an elected body of the citizens of Anna, TX, and
WHEREAS, the Council performs duties representing the citizens of Anna, TX, and
WHEREAS, the Council agrees to dress in an appropriate manner of such
representation
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF ANNA THAT:
SECTION 1. The Council adopts a dress code consistent with the terms of business
casual to include, at a minimum:
SECTION 2. Males will wear a colored polo shirt, dress shirt, no T-shirts (unless dress
T-shirts with a coat or blazer), jeans with no holes or dress slacks, no shorts, no opened
toed shoes, no hats, and not wear non-prescription glasses.
SECTION 3. Females will wear a colored polo shirt, dress shirt, no T-shirts (unless
dress T-shirts with a coat or blazer), jeans with no holes or dress slacks or a skirt, no
shorts, appropriate dress shoes, no hats, and not wear non-prescription glasses.
PASSED AND APPROVED on this 20 day of July 2007.
