RESOLUTION NO. 2010-01-04
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AN
INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT WITH THE NORTH CENTRAL TEXAS COUNCIL OF
GOVERNMENTS FOR A SOLID WASTE IMPLEMENTATION GRANT PROJECT
AND TO MAKE DECISIONS ON BEHALF OF THE CITY AS THEY RELATE TO THE
GRANT PROJECT
WHEREAS, The North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG) has
approved the City of Anna's application for grant funds to host a household hazardous
waste disposal event; and
WHEREAS, This money is being made available to the City of Anna by reimbursement
from the NCTCOG Solid Waste Grant program; and
WHEREAS, The City of Anna is eligible to receive $16,374 from this Grant program:
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANNA, TEXAS THAT:
Section 1. Recitals Incorporated
The recitals set forth above are incorporated herein for all purposes as if set forth in full.
Section 2. the City Council of the City of Anna, Texas hereby authorizes the City
Manager to execute an interlocal agreement with the North Central Texas Council of
Governments for a Solid Waste Implementation Grant Project, and to make decisions
on behalf of the City as they relate to the grant project.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Anna, Texas, on this 26th day of January,
2010.
