RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AMENDED CONCEPT PLAN FOR NATURAL SPRINGS
PARK
WHEREAS, on March 25, 2008 the City Council of the City of Anna, Texas (City Council)
approved a Concept Plan for Natural Springs Park (Park); and,
WHEREAS, an architectural study provided by the Anna Community Development Corporation
outlines a proposal to convert the existing metal structure located in the northeast comer of the
Park into a community center; and,
WHEREAS, Staff is recommending that the Concept Plan for the Park be revised to show
existing improvements, the proposed trails to be constructed in Phase II of the Park, and the
conversion of the existing metal structure to a community center; and,
WHEREAS, The Parks Advisory Board has reviewed the proposed amendments and is
recommending the City Council approve the amended Concept Plan;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANNA,
TEXAS THAT:
Section 1. Recitals Incorporated
The recitals set forth above are incorporated herein for all purposes as if set forth in full.
Section 2. The City Council hereby approves an amended Concept Plan for Natural Springs
Park attached as Exhibit 1.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Anna, Texas, on this 23rd day of February. 2010.
