RESOLUTION NO, 2010-03-04
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING 'rHE PURCHASE OF MOBILE DATA COMPU'rER
HARDWARE FROM DATALUX CORPORATION
WHEREAS, the City of Anna (City) has recently been awarded a grant by the Criminal
Justice Division of the Governor's Office for Policing Enhancements; and,
WHEREAS, a portion of the grant is designated to enhance the technology used by the
Police department; and,
WHEREAS, the City Staff has solicited a proposal from Datalux Corporation through the
Texas Department of Information Resource's Information and Communications
Technology (ICT) Cooperative Contracts program for mobile data computer hardware
(Contract No. DIR-SDD-1032);
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF 'rHE CITY OF
ANNA, TEXAS THAT:
Section 1, Recitals Incorporated
The recitals set forth above are incorporated herein for all purposes as if set forth in full.
Section 2, The City Council hereby authorizes the purchase of the mobile data
computer hardware shown on the attached invoice marked as Exhibit A from Datalux
Corporation for $30,081.30.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Anna, Texas, on this 23rd day of March,
2010.
