RESOLUTION NO. 2010-04-01
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ADVERTISING BIDS FOR THE RIGGINS STREET
REHABILITATION PROJECT
WHEREAS, the FY 2010 Budget has allocated $100,000 for a street improvement
project; and,
WHEREAS, the City Staff is recommending that the funds be used to rehabilitate a
portion of Riggins Street from Fourth Street to Hackberry Drive; and,
WHEREAS, construction plans and specification for this project have been prepared by
an engineering firm selected by the City;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANNA, TEXAS THAT:
Section 1. Recitals Incorporated
The recitals set forth above are incorporated herein for all purposes as if set forth in full.
Section 2. The City Council hereby authorizes the City Manager to seek competitive
bids for the construction of this project in accordance with State Law.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Anna, Texas, on this 13th day of April, 2010.
