RESOLUTION NO. 2010-06-03
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANNA, TEXAS
CONFIRMING THE SELECTION OF THE ADMINISTRATIVE CONSULTANTS
NEEDED TO COMPLETE ACTIVITIES RELA TlNG TO THE 2010 TEXAS
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM PROJECT.
Whereas, the Anna City Council ("City Council") desires to develop a viable community,
including decent housing, a suitable living environment, and expanding economic opportunities,
principally for persons of low to moderate income;
Whereas, the City of Anna has submitted an application for and received an award of grant
funds from the Texas Department of Rural Affairs relating to the City's 2009/2010 TxCDBG
application;
Whereas, the City of Anna ("City") has satisfactorily completed the professional procurement
process; and
Whereas, the City Council now desires to engage the services of a qualified administrative
consulting firm to provide administrative services related to the activities proposed in the City's
2010 Texas Community Development Block Grant Program ("TxCDBG") project.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANNA,
TEXAS THAT:
Section 1. Recitals Incorporated
The recitals set forth above are incorporated herein for all purposes as if set forth in full.
Section 2. Selection of Contractor
That the procurement of administrative services has been completed through the Request for
Proposals selection process and that lawrence and Associates has been selected to provide
administrative services for the activities proposed in this TxCDBG project.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of Anna, Texas on this 22 00 day of
June, 2010.
