A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING AN ANNEXATION PETITION AND ESTABLISHING THE
DATES, TIMES, AND PLACES FOR PUBLIC HEARINGS FOR THE ANNEXATION OF
PROPERTY
WHEREAS, the City of Anna has received a petition for annexation from Julia and Duncan
Gray, the owner or authorized representative of the owner of property described in Exhibit A;
and
WHEREAS, said territory lies adjacent to and adjoins the present boundaries of the City of
Anna, Texas; and
WHEREAS, the City of Anna desires to accept said petition and initiate annexation proceedings
regarding the property described in Exhibit A; now therefore
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANNA THAT
Section I.
The petition for annexation submitted to the City of Anna by Julia and Duncan Gray, the owner
or authorized representative of the owner of property described in Exhibit A; is hereby accepted.
Section 2.
Public hearings regarding the proposed annexation are hereby scheduled as follows:
13t Public Hearing — July 13, 2010 at 7:30 p.m. at the Community Room, Anna City Hall
Administrative Building, 111 N. Powell Pkwy, Anna, TX
2nd Public Hearing — July 27, 2010 at 7:30 p.m. at the Community Room, Anna City Hall
Administrative Building, 111 N. Powell Pkwy, Anna, TX
PASSED by the following vote of all members of the City Council as present on this the 22nd day
of June, 2010.
