RESOLUTION NO. 2010-09-07
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ANNA, TEXAS APPROVING AN AGREEMENT WITH
DANNENBAUM ENGINEERING COMPANY -DALLAS, LLC FOR ENGINEERING
SERVICES FOR THE RELOCATION OF UTILITIES ALONG FM 455.
WHEREAS, the County of Collin, Texas ("County") and the City of Anna, Texas ("City") have
agreed to share the cost of preparing construction plans necessary for the relocation of
certain utilities along FM 455; and
WHEREAS, Dannenbaum Engineering has been previously selected by the County to be the
project engineer for the FM 455 expansion project; and
WHEREAS, the City and the County have determined that using the same design
engineering for the required utility relocation will provide greater continuity to the project and
reduce the likelihood of design errors; and
WHEREAS, The City and the County have evaluated Dannenbaum Engineering's
qualifications to perform the required design work have selected Dannenbaum Engineering
for the utility relocation design project based on their demonstrated qualifications;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANNA,
TEXAS THAT:
Section 1. Recitals Incorporated
The recitals set forth above are incorporated herein for all purposes as if set forth in full.
Section 2. Approval of Agreement
The Council hereby approves the Agreement, attached hereto as EXHIBIT 1, incorporated
herein for all purposes and authorizes the City Manager to execute same on its behalf only
after the County has executed the inter-local agreement, attached hereto as EXHIBIT 2, to
share the project cost.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of Anna, Texas on this 28th day of
September 2010.
