RESOLUTION NO. 2010-10-22
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ANNA, TEXAS APPROVING JOB ORDER
CONSTRCTS AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF SAME FOR PROPOSAL NO. 11
02 PW, MUNICIPAL FACILITIES: CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS FOR INTERIOR
FACILITIES CONSTRUCTION/ALTERATION
WHEREAS, in accordance with State Law, the City of Anna, Texas (the "City't) has
solicited job order contract proposals for Proposal No. 11-02 PW, Municipal Facilities:
Construction Materials for Interior Facilities Construction/Alteration; and
WHEREAS, sealed proposal were opened in accordance with State Law on Thursday,
October 21 at 2:00 p.m.; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anna, Texas (the "City Council") may award
job order contracts to one or more companies that provide the best value for the City of
Anna; and
WHEREAS, the City staff has reviewed the proposals and is recommending that job
order contracts be executed with The Home Depot #528 and Lowe's Home
Improvement, Inc. #2825 for Proposal No. 11-02 PW, MuniCipal Facilities: Construction
Materials for Interior Facilities Construction/Alteration;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANNA, TEXAS THAT:
Section 1. Recitals Incorporated
The recitals set forth above are incorporated herein for all purposes as if set forth in full.
Section 2. Approval of Agreement
The City Council hereby accepts the proposals submitted by The Home Depot #528 and
by Lowe's Home Improvement, Inc. #2825, attached hereto as EXHIBIT 1 and EXHIBIT
2 respectively, incorporated herein for all purposes and authorizes the City Manager to
execute same on its behatf.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of Anna, Texas on this 26th
day of October 2010.
