RESOLUTION NO. 2012-08-01
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ANNA, TEXAS NAMING THE MAXIMUM 2012 AD
VALOREM TAX RATE
WHEREAS, The City Council (Council) of the City of Anna (The City) recognizes that
the FY 13 Proposed Budget is supported by a tax rate of $.0650332
WHEREAS, The Council recognizes that the proposed tax rate is identical to the current
rate of $0.650332
WHEREAS, The proposed rate of $0.650332 exceeds the effective rate of $0.646813
WHEREAS, The council wishes to comply with Truth in Taxation Requirements
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANNA, TEXAS THAT:
Section 1. Recitals Incorporated
The recitals set forth above are incorporated herein for all purposes as if set forth in full.
Section 2. MAXIMUM 2012 AD VALOREM TAX RATE
The Council hereby sets $0.650332 as the maximum ad valorem tax rate for 2012.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of Anna, Texas on this 7th
day of August, 2012.
