The City Council of the City of Anna met in regular session on the 11 s day of January.
Item #1
Mayor Pro -Tem Duane Hayes called this meeting to order at 7:54 p.m..
Item #2
The following members were present and participating: Mayor Pro -Tem Duane Hayes, Joe
Murphy, Bob Estep and Joel Foltz. Mayor Ron Ferguson and Lisa Copeland were absent from
this meeting.
Others present were: Tom Gregg, Johnny McBride, Jim Jake Templin, John Baldwin, and Joe
Jaynes

Mayor Pro -Tem asked for any citizen's participation at this time. There was no response..
Item #4
The City Council met with John Baldwin to discuss and take action as needed on the past due
sewer charges relating to his father's property. Joe Murphy made a motion to table this until the
next meeting so that he could do some more research. Joel Foltz seconded the motion. The
motion carried 31010.
Item #5
The City Council met with Tom Gregg from Gregg and Co. to discuss the 98-99 Audit. Joe
Murphy made a motion to accept the 98-99 Audit. Joel Foltz seconded the motion. The motion
carried 31010.
Item #6
Joe Murphy made a motion to approve the Minutes for December 14, 2000 and Der -ember 20,
2000. Bob Estep seconded the motion. The motion carried 31010.

Joe Murphy made a motion to approve the bills. Bob Estep seconded the motion. The motion
carried 3/010,
Item #8
The City Council met with the Water & Wastewater Superintendent for the monthly report. The
Council asked him to have bids done on the purchase of a new backhoe. There was no action
taken on this item..
Item #9
Bob Estep made a motion to table the Capital Water Improvements until the next meeting. Joe
Murphy seconded the motion. The motion carried 310/0.
Item #10
Joe Murphy made a motion supporting the Resolution on the City supporting the Texas
Preservation Fund Grant as long as the County retains ownership. Joel Foltz seconded the
motion. The motion carried 21011.
Item #11
Joe Murphy made a motion to get bids on the road repair of all the city streets on the East Side of
town, excluding Amoret and Fern. Bob Estep seconded the motion. The motion carried 3/0/0.
Item #12
The City Council tabled the discussion on the zoning map until the next meeting.

There being no further business this meeting was adjourned at 9:45 p.m..
