The City Council of the City of Anna met in regular session on the qt day of May
Item #1
Mayor Pro -Tem Duane Hayes called this meeting to order at 7:44 p -m-.
Item #2
The following members were present and participating: Mayor Pro -Tem Duane Hayes, .Joe
Murphy, Bob Estep, Lisa Copeland and Joel Foltz, Mayor Ron Ferguson absent from this
meeting.
Item #3
Mayor Pro -Tem Duane Hayes asked for any citizen's participation at this time. There was no
response.
Item #4
The City Council held a public hearing for all persons interested in the proposed zoning of the
property located on the northwest corner of Powell Parkway and County Road 371 to residential.
Joe Murphy made a motion to adopt Ordinance No. 2000-05 zoning the property to residential.
Lisa Copeland seconded the motion. The motion carried 41010.
Item #5
The City Council held discussions regarding the recommendation that was made by Planning and
Zoning Board on the approval of the Final Plat on Phase 1 of Tara Farms. The Council wanted
more information before this was approved A special session was called for Monday May 15,
2000.

The City Council held a public hearing for all persons interested in the proposed sub -divisions of
the property located on the corner of Anthony and North Riggins Street- There was no response

Lisa Copeland made a motion to table this until Monday's meeting. Bob Estep seconded the
motion- The motion carried 41010.

Lisa Copeland made a motion to approve Gary Estep as Fire Marshall. Joe Murphy seconded
the motion. The motion carried 41010.

Joe Murphy made a motion to reject the bid for street repair. Lisa Copeland seconded the
motion. The motion carried 41010.

Joe Murphy made a motion to adopt Ordinance No. 2000-06, which adds the new high school to
the speed zone. Bob Estep seconded the motion. The motion carried 41010.

Lisa Copeland made a motion to approve the Minutes for April 11, 2000. Bob Estep seconded
the motion. The Motion carried 41010.

Lisa Copeland made a motion to approve the bills. Joe Murphy seconded the motion. The
motion carried 41010.
Item #13
Joe Murphy made a motion to adopt Resolution No. 04-2000 relating to the Water Conservation
and Emergency Water Demand Management Plan for the City of Anna. Lisa Copeland seconded
the motion. The motion carried 41010.

There was no action taken on the report for Water Superintendent.
Item #15
Bob Estep made a motion to accept the May 6, 2000 elections results as presented, thus
canvassing the 2000 election. Lisa Copeland seconded the motion The motion carried 41010.
Item #16
Lisa made a motion to not snake an adjustment to Michael Curiel's water bill. Joe Murphy
seconded the motion. The motion carried 41010.
Item #17
Joe Murphy made a motion to start the annexation process on Oak Hollow Estates. Lisa
Copeland seconded the motion. The motion carried 41010.
Item #18
Lisa Copeland made a motion to have Southwest Consultants to deal with all issues relating to
sub -divisions and development request, CCN activity and city limits activity. Bob Estep seconded
the motion. The motion carried 41010.

There being no further business this meeting was adjourned at 9:10 p.m..
