The City Council of the City of Anna met in regular session on the 11th day of July.

Mayor Ron Ferguson called this meeting to order at 7.30 pm..
Item #2
The following members were present: Mayor Ron Ferguson, 'Lisa Copeland, Duane Hayes,
Brenda Tilley, Joe Murphy and Bob Estep.
Others present were: Kevin Slay-TXU Electric & Gas, Lonnie & Frances Martin, Cole Martin,
Johnny McBride, Joel Foltz, Joe Finly, Diane McCollum, James Oglesy, Ginger Wonham, Sandra
Chapman, Lynda Rollins, Dianne Mann, Jim Mann, Georgiann Evans, T.J. Warren, Anthony
Geer, A.B. Roper, Dale Tilley and Wade & Jessica Hulcy.

Mayor Ferguson asked for any citizen participation at this time. Ginger Wortham stated that 229
E. 3"d Street had some very large potholes that needed filling. Frances Martin stated that there
were sewer gases in her house. Joe Finly stated that there were sewer gases in his house also.
Joel Foltz voiced his concern on the Insurance Ratings. Kathy Guerra stated that there were
large potholes on North Riggins Street. She also wanted her trash charge taken off her water bill
The Council told her that they couldn't do that.

The City Council held a public hearing regarding the zoning of a 138.7 -acre tract located on the
south side of FM 455 approximately 5000 feet west of State Hwy.5. Don Collins from Collins
Commercial Realty answered some of the questions.

The City Council held a public hearing regarding the zoning request by AM International for a 35 -
acre tract located on the south side of FM 455 and US Highway 75.

Joe Murphy made a motion to adopt Ordinance 2400-08 annexing a 138.7 -acre tract located on
the south side of FM 455 approximately 5,000 feet west of State Highway 5. Duane Hayes
seconded the motion. The motion carried 5/0/0.
Item #7
Bob Estep made a motion to adopt Ordinance 2000-07 zoning a 138.7 -acre tract and to accept
the recommendation from Planning and Zoning. Lisa Copeland seconded the motion. The
motion carried 5!010.
Item #8
Brad Meyer spoke to the Council on the Facilities Agreement between the City of Anna and
Collins Commercial Realty regarding Oak Hollow Subdivision. The item was tabled for more
information.
Item #9
There was no action taken on the Code Enforcement Officer. The Council asked that this be
placed on the next agenda.
Item #10
There was no action taken on the ambulance service until more information is gathered. The City
Council asked for a special session July 17, 2000.

Duane Hayes made a motion to approve the minutes for May 31, 2000 and June 13, 2000. Lisa
Copeland seconded the motion. The motion carried 51010.

Duane Hayes made a motion to approve the biles. Lisa Copeland seconded the motion. The
motion carried 510/0.
Item #13
Lisa Copeland made a motion to accept the low bid from North Texas Utility of $25,120.00 and
the city will supply the entire pipe. Brenda Tilley seconded the motion. The motion carried 510/0

There was no action taken on the new lawnmower.
Item #15
Joe Murphy made a motion to review the sample sign ordinances for 30 more days. Lisa
Copeland seconded the motion. The motion carried 5/0/0.

There was no action taken regarding the Parks and Recreation Board -

There being no further business. This meeting was adjourned at 10:40 p.m..
