The City Council of the City of Anna met in special session on the 29th day of August
Item #1
Mayor Ron Ferguson called this meeting to order at 4:45 p.m..
Item #2
The following members were present and participating: Mayor Ran Ferguson, Joe Murphy, Bob
Estep, 'Brenda Tilley and Duane Hayes. Lisa Copeland was absent from this meeting.
Item #3
Mayor Ferguson held a public hearing to discuss the proposed tax rate. There was no response
at this time.
Item ##4
.toe Murphy made a motion to adopt 'Resolution 07-2000 forming a northern county coalition for
the purpose of providing ambulance service to its residents. Brenda Tilley seconded the motion.
The motion carried 41010.
Item #5
There was no action taken on the repairs needed on the Water Wells.
Item #6
Duane Hayes made a motion to set the tax rate at .52999 for the fiscal year 2000-2001. Brenda
Tilley seconded the motion. The motion carded 41010.
Item #7
The City Council held discussion on the acquisition of the property located at 225 S. Powell Pkwy
This was tabled at this time.
Item #8
There being no further business this meeting was adjourned at 6:35 p.m..
