RESOLUTION NO. 2015-07-04
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ANNA, TEXAS APPROVING EXTENSION OF AN AGREEMENT
WITH COLLIN COUNTY FOR JAIL SERVICES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anna, Texas ("City Council") finds that the City of Anna
Chief of Police, in furtherance of the Department's purpose of preserving and protecting the
public health and safety of the City's residents, recommends that the City renew the agreement
for jail services with Collin County.
WHEREAS, the City Council approves amendment #9 to the agreement as Section 2 of the
current Jail Services Agreement is amended to read as follows:
"2.01 This agreement shall be for a period of one (1) year ending September 30, 2016,
and may be renewed for an additional one (1) year term as agreed in writing by both parties. If
the basic charge per day is increased at any time during the agreement/renewal period, the
agreement will be revised and forwarded to the entity with the revised basic charge fee."
"Except as provided herein, all terms and conditions of the contract remain in full force
and effect and may only be modified in writing signed by both parties."
Section 1. Recitals Incorporated
The recitals set forth above are incorporated herein for all purposes as if set forth in full.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of Anna, Texas on this 21St day of July,
2015.
