ANNA PARKS ADVISORY BOARD MEETING
Monday, September 19th @ 6:00 PM
Municipal Complex, Council Chambers
120 W. 7th Street, Anna, TX 75409
The Parks Advisory Board of the City of Anna met at 6:00 PM, on September 19t", 2022, at the Municipal Complex,
Council Chambers, located at 120 W. 7t" Street, to consider the following items:
1. Call to Order, Roll Call and Establishment of Quorum
Parks Advisory Board Member Eirik Hansen called the meeting to order at 6:00 pm.
Parks Advisory Board Member Elden Baker was absent. Staff present included Recreation Neighborhood
Services Director Marc Marchand, Park Planning and Development Manager Dalan Walker, and City Council
Member Stan Carver.
2. Invocation and Pledge of Allegiance
Parks Advisory Board Member Andrew Michrina led the Invocation.
Parks Advisory Board Member Eirik Hansen led the Pledge of Allegiance.
3. Project Updates
a. The Parks Advisory Board and members of the community provided input on the design of the Slayter
Creek Park Splash Pad project.
4. Individual Consideration
a. Discuss, Consider and Act on Parks Advisory Board meeting minutes from August 15t", 2022.
MOTION: Parks Advisory Board Member Eirik Hansen moved to approve the Minutes. Parks Advisory
Board Member Jeff Reece seconded. Motion carried.
b. Discuss, Consider, Act on the election of a Chair.
c. Discuss, Consider, Act on the election of a Vice Chair.
d. Discuss, Consider, Act on the election of a Secretary.
MOTION: Parks Advisory Board Member Eirik Hansen moved to table the discussion, consideration, and
action on the election of a Chair, Vice Chair and Secretary. Parks Advisory Board Member Andrew
Michrina seconded. Motion carried.
5. Adjourn
Parks Advisory Board Member Eirik Hansen adjourned the meeting at 7:00 pm.
