HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrd 107-2003 PD Zoning Harow Com.pdfCITY OF ANNA, TEXAS ORDINANCE NO. 107-2003 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANNA, TEXAS, AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF ANNA TO PROVIDE FOR ZONING OF CERTAIN PROPERTY; PROVIDING A REPEALER CLAUSE; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE WHEREAS, the owner of the property described in Exhibit A attached hereto has requested a certain zoning for said property; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anna has given the requisite notices and afforded a full and fair hearing to all property owners generally and to all persons interested in and situated in the affected area and in the vicinity thereof, the City Council of the City of Anna has concluded that the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Anna should be amended as follows: NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANNA, TEXAS: Section 1. The Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance of the City of Anna, Texas, is amended by zoning the tract described in Exhibit A, attached hereto and made an integral part of this Ordinance, as Planned Development No. 18-2003 (PD 18-2003). The Planned Development shall include the following element: Commercial Element a. Permitted Uses in Planned Development No. 17-2003 The following uses shall be permitted: • Auto parts sales (inside sales and display only) • Car wash • Health club, gymnasium • Antique shop • Arts, crafts store (inside sales) • Bakery and confectionery, retail sales • Bank, savings and loan, credit union • Barber shop • Beauty shop • Drapery, needlework, or weaving shop • Florist • Food store; grocery store • Furniture, appliance store (inside storage) • Garden center (retail sales) • General merchandise store • Handcraft shop • Hotel • Laboratory, medical or dental C:IDocuments and SettingslLeellMy DocumentslAnna Mgtl^Development IssueslZoning0003108b-Harow Texas Trust- Commercia1109-Zon Ord. doc Page 1 of 3 • Metal dealer, crafted precious • Miscellaneous retail stores • Motel, motor hotel, motor lodge • Office, professional or general administrative • Office - showroom/warehouse • Pet shop • Pharmacy • Restaurant or cafeteria, with drive-in or drive-through facilities • Restaurant or cafeteria, without drive-in or drive-through facilities • Restaurant, with drive-in service • Restaurant, with drive-through service (only) • Studio (photographer, musician, artist) • Studio for radio and television • Tanning salon • Theater (indoor) All other requirements of the C-1 zoning district shall pertain to this Planned Development. b. Permitted Uses With Specific Use Permit in Planned Development No. 18-2003 The following uses shall be permitted with a Specific Use Permit: • Auto leasing & rental • Amusement, commercial (indoor) • Arcade (without gambling) • Bowling alley • Building materials, hardware (inside storage) • Clinic, medical or dental • Office center • Medical supplies, sales & service • Print shop SPr_tinn 2 - The The official Zoning Map of the City of Anna shall be corrected to reflect the change in zoning described herein. Section 3. All ordinances of the City of Anna in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance are repealed to the extent of that conflict. Section 4. This Ordinance shall take effect immediately from and after its passage by the City Council and approval by the Mayor.
