ORDINANCE NO. 549-2011
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANNA, TEXAS DESIGNATING
AUTHORIZED SIGNATORIES FOR BANK ACCOUNTS OF THE CITY IN THE
CITY'S DEPOSITORY BANK. (INDEPENDENT BANK)
WHEREAS, the depository bank of the City of Anna periodically requests a listing of
authorized signatories for bank accounts of the City held at the bank; and
WHEREAS, the City of Anna has by adoption of a city charter changed its
administrative structure; now therefore
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANNA, TEXAS
Section 1.
The persons holding the following positions are authorized signatories for bank accounts
of the City of Anna held by Independent Bank:
Mayor
Mayor Pro Tempore
City Manager
Director of Finance
City Secretary
Section 2.
The Mayor or the City Manager of the City of Anna may remove the signatory authority
of a person holding a position listed in Section 1. At the next regular meeting of the city
council following such removal, the city council shall be advised of such removal and
shall have the opportunity to ratify or overturn the removal.
PASSED by the following vote of all members of the City Council as present on this the
14th day of June, 2011.
