SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING
July 12, 2005 6:00 PM
Community Room, Texas Star Bank
The City Council of the City of Anna met in Special Session at 6:00 p.m.. Tuesday, July 12
2005, at the Community Room, Texas Star Bank, located at 402 W. White Street (FM 455),
to consider the following items.
1. Call to Order.
Mayor Pelham called the meeting to order at 6:05 p.m.
2. Roll Call and Establishment of Quorum.
Councilmen JW Finley, Jr., John Geren, Robert Shiner and Mayor Pelham present.
Mayor Pr -Tem Mark Montgomery and Councilman Lynn Mosier absent.
3. EXECUTIVE SESSION: Under terms of Chapter 551 of Texas Government Code
the City Council may enter into CLOSED SESSION or Executive Session to
discuss the following:
A. To consult with legal counsel on matters in which the duty of the
attorney to the governmental body under the Texas Disciplinary Rules
of Professional Conduct of the State Bar of Texas clearly conflicts with
Chapter 551 of the Government Code. (Government Code, Chapter
551.071).
B. Personnel Matters (Texas Government Code, Section 551.074)
Consider applicant Natha Wilkison for the position of City Secretary.
Motion to enter into executive session at 6:06 p.m. by JW Finley, Jr., seconded by John
John Geren.

Motion to return to open session at 6:38 p.m. by JW Finley, Jr., seconded by John
Geren.

4. Consider and take action regarding the position of City Secretary.
Motion to negotiate a contract with Natha Wilkison for the position of City Secretary of
Anna, Texas by JW Finley, Jr., seconded by John Garen

5. Adjourn.
Motion to adjourn at 6:40 p.m. by JW Finley, Jr., seconded by John Geren.
