SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING
July 26, 2005 6:15 PM
Community Room, Texas Star Bank
The City Council of the City of Anna met in Special Session at :15 .m. Tuesday, July 26,
2005, at the Community Room, Texas Star Bank, located at 402 W. White Street (FM 455), to
consider the following items.
t. Call to Order.
Mayor Kenneth Pelham called the meeting to order to 6:24 p.m.
2. Roll Call and Establishment of Quorum.
Members present included Mayor Kenneth Pelham and council members J. W. Finley,
John Goren, Mark Montgomery, and Bobby Shiner. Council member Lynn Mosier
arrived at 6:30 p.m.
3. Workshop:
Discussion briefing regarding 2005-06 budget for City of Anna.
City Manager Lee Lawrence was recognized to make a budget presentation. Mr.
Lawrence presented information summarizing the General Fund projected revenues and
expenditures, focusing on the budgetary impact of proposed staffing requests for Anna
Volunteer Fire Department and Police Department.
No action was taken by council.
4. Adjourn.
Motion to adjourn by J. W. Finley, Jr., seconded by Mark Montgomery. The meeting was
adjourned at 7:02 p.m.
