To consider public comment on variance request by Bryan Burchfiel of Skorburg
Company, representative for ATC Amenity Center, LTD., from provisions of the City
of Anna Code of Ordinances, Part III –D, Sign Regulations, Article 2, Section 2, (2.01 a)
to allow an off-premises sign.
The proposed Anna Town Center sign will be located at Hwy 5 and Finley Blvd. The sign
will be affixed to the northeast entry wall of the development and will consist of 1.5’ to 2’
tall cut out steel letters that spell out the developments name “Anna Town Square”. The entry
wall and the affixed sign are not located on the property of the developers of Anna Town
Square and thus the sign would be in violation of the City of Anna Sign regulations
prohibiting the installation of off-premises signs. It is the staff’s opinion and
recommendation that the___________. Furthermore, no unusual hardship exists that will not
be experienced by all other users in the area.
b) Consider/Discuss/Act on variance request from provisions of the City of Anna Code
of Ordinances, Part III –D, Sign Regulations, Article 2, Section 2, (2.01 a) to allow an
off-premises sign.
