SPECIAL MEETING
CITY COUNCIL MEETING AGENDA
September 15, 2007 8:45 AM
Anna City Hall Administration Bldg.
The City Council of the City of Anna met in Special Session at 8:45 a.m.. Saturday,
September 15, 2007, at the Anna City Hall Administration Bldg., located at 111 N. Powell
(Hwy 5), to consider the following items.
1. Call to Order.
Mayor Kenneth Pelham called the meeting to order at 8:53 a.m.
2. Roll Call and Establishment of Quorum.
Mayor Kenneth Pelham and Council Members Mike Chat, Kevin Anderson, Keith
Green and Billy Deragon were present. Council Member John Garen and David
Com were absent.
Council Member Deragon made the motion to go into executive session at 8:54
a.m. Council Member Crist seconded the motion. Motion passes.
AYE 5 NAY 0 ABSTAIN 0
3. CLOSED SESSION: Under Tex. Gov't Code Chapter 551, the City Council
may enter into closed session to:
a. consult with legal counsel on matters in which the duty of the
attorney to the governmental body under the Texas Disciplinary
Rules of Professional Conduct of the State Bar of Texas clearly
conflicts with Chapter 551 of the Government Code. (Tex. Gov't
Code §551.071);
b. Personnel: Interviews for the Position of the City Manager of
the City of Anna, Texas. (Government Code, Section 551.074).
Council Member Green made the motion to return to open session 4:02
p.m. Council Member Crist seconded the motion. Motion passes.

4. Consider and act upon items listed under Item 3 Executive Session,
as necessary.

Council Member Deragon made the motion to go into contract
negotiations with top 3 candidates with Don Paschal. Council Member
Crist seconded the motion. Motion passes.

5. Adjourn.
Council Member Anderson made the motion to adjourn at 4:03 p.m. Council
