SPECIAL JOINT CITY COUNCIL / ANNA PLANNING & ZONNING
COMMISSION WORKSHOP
January 30,2010 10:00 A.M.
Anna City Hall Administration Building
The City Council of the City of Anna and Anna Planning & Zoning Commission
met in a Special Workshop Session at 10:00 a.m., January 30,2010, at the Anna
City Hall Administration Building located at 111 N. Powell Parkway (Hwy 5),
Anna, TX 75409, to consider the following items.
1. Call to Order
Mayor Darren R. Driskell called the meeting to order at 10:05 am.
2. Roll Call and Establishment of Quorum.
Present were Mayor Darren R. Driskell and Council Members Mike Crist,
Kevin Anderson, Keith Green, John Geren and Becky Glover. Council
Member Marc Hendricks was absent.
Planning and Zoning Commission called their meeting to order. Members
present were Tony Halsell, Michael Lee Howard, Rhonda Watkins and
Allen Marter.
3. Workshop: The following items/issues will be discussed. No action
will be taken on any item:
a. Discussion regarding Council's goals and expectations for the
Anna Planning & Zoning Commission.
Discussion regarding the time table for the construction of FM 455 to Hwy
75 into a 4 lane road and the various issues such as driveways, moving
utilities, the North bound exit ramp off 75 hwy, etc.; public hearing and
meetings on the Master Plan coming up; updating the subdivision
ordinance; updates on the outer loop included they have acquired the
right-of-ways, how they want to build it, etc.; the role of the council liaison.

4. Adjourn.
Council Member Crist made the motion to adjourn at 10:55 am. Council
Member Green seconded the motion. Motion passes.
AYE 6 NAY 0 ABSTAINED 0
P &Z Commissioner Mater made the motion for P &Z to adjourn,
Commissioner Watkins seconded the motion. Motion passed. P & Z
adjourned at 10:55 pm.
