SPECIAL JOINT CITY COUNCIL I ANNA COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
CORPORATION AND PARKS & RECREATION ADVISORY BOARD WORKSHOP*
February 9,2010 6:30 P.M.
Anna City Hall Administration Building
The City Council of the City of Anna and the Anna Community Development Corporation
and the Parks & Recreation Advisory Board met in a Special Workshop Session at 6:30
p.m., February 9, 2010, at the Anna City Hall Administration Building located at 111 N.
Powell Parkway (Hwy 5), Anna, TX 75409, to consider the following items.
1. Call to Order.
Mayor Darren R. Driskell called the meeting to order at 6:30 pm.
2. Roll Call and Establishment of Quorum.
Mayor Driskell and Council Members Mike Crist, Keith Green, John Geren, and
Marc Hendricks were present. Council Member Kevin Anderson arrived at 6:33
pm. Council Member Becky Glover was absent.
Connie Stump, President of the Anna Community Development Corporation
called their meeting to order.
3. Workshop: The following item will be discussed. No action will be taken
on this item:
a. Presentation and Discussion regarding a proposed community
center at Natural Springs Park.
Justin Gilmore with Southwest Architects, Inc. gave a presentation on a
Proposed DeSign for a City of Anna Community Center at Natural Springs
Park by reusing the existing building (bam). Mr. Gilmore answered question
from Council Members and staff.
4. Adjourn.
Council Member Crist made the motion to adjourn at 7:20 pm. Council Member
Green seconded the motion. Motion passes.
AYE 6 NAY 0 ABSTAIN o
President, Connie Stump adjourned the Anna Community Development
Corporation meeting.
