CITY OF ANNA AGENDA NOTICE -CITY COUNCIL SPECIAL MEETING
May, 19 2010 6:00 p.m. -Anna City Hall Administration Building
The City Council of the City of Anna will meet in Special Session at 6:00 p.m., May 19,
2010, at the Anna City Hall Administration Building, located at 111 North Powell Parkway
(Hwy 5), to consider the following items.
1. Call to Order.
Mayor Darren R. Driskell called the meeting to order at 6:00 pm. Mayor Darren
R. Driskell and Council Members Keith Green, Marc Hendricks, Becky Glover
were present. Council Members Mike Crist, Kevin Anderson and John Geren
were absent.
2. Consider/Discuss/Action on a Resolution approving an amended
agreement with the Greater Anna Chamber of Commerce for the production
of a fireworks display.
City Manager, Philip Sanders presented the item to council for discussion. Stacy
Driskell explained why the event was being moved to the weekend after the
Fourth-of July and answered questions from council members. Council Members
discussed the item and ask questions. Council Member Green made the motion
to approve. Council Member Hendricks seconded the motion. Motion passes.

3. Consider/DiscuSS/Action on a Resolution approving a Special Event Permit
and Agreement for "Freedom Fest" at Slayter Creek Park.
City Manager, Philip Sanders presented the item to council for discussion.
Council Members discussed the item and asked questions. Council Member
Green made the motion to approve. Council Member Hendricks seconded the
motion. Motion passes.
AYE 3 NAY 1 (CM Glover) ABSTAIN o
4. Adjourn.
Council Member Green made the motion to adjourn at 6:15 pm. Council Member
Hendricks seconded the motion. Motion passes.
