CITY OF ANNA AGENDA NOTICE -CITY COUNCIL SPECIAL
TOWN HALL MEETING
March 5, 2011 9:00 a.m. -Anna City Han Administration Building
The City Council of the City of Anna met in a Special Town Hall Meeting at 9:00 a.m.,
March 5, 2011, at the Anna City Hall Administration Building, located at 111 North
Powell Parkway (Hwy 5), regarding the following items.
1. Call to Order
Mayor Darren R. Driskell called the meeting to order at 9:00 am.
2. Roll Can and Establishment of Quorum.
Mayor Darren R. Driskell and Council Members Mike Crist, Keith Green, John
Geren, and Becky Glover were present. Council Members Kevin Anderson and
Marc Hendricks were absent.
3. Briermg related to discussion topics listed on this Agenda (City Manager)
City Manager, Philip Sanders gave a presentation related to topics on the agenda.
Mayor, City Council and Staff Members introduced themselves and told just a
little about themselves.
4. Public Comment and Discussion regarding:
a. Road and other infrastruerure improvement projects
b. Parks and recreation facilities
c. Economic development projects
d. Community appearance and development standards
e. Police and Fire department services
f. Issues related to and priorities for the FY 2012 Budget
About 30 residents/non-residents attended the Town Hall Meeting. Members of
the audience had a chance to ask questions about the city and inter act with
council members. Fire Chief, Danny Newton gave a brief update on the Fire
Department; Police Chief Kenny Jenks gave a brief update on the Police

Department. Mayor Driskell recognized the Public Works Director James
Parkman and his guys for their work. Council Members gave closing remarks and
Mayor Driskell thanked everyone for coming out.
5. Adjourn.
Council Member Crist made the motion to adjourn at 11 :07 am. Council Member
Green seconded the motion. Motion passes.
