RESOLUTION NO. e'Q23- 102- 1543
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ANNA, TEXAS REJECTING ALL BIDS RECEIVED
FOR THE SLAYTER CREEK PARK RESTROOM AND CONCRETE PROJECT AT THE
BID OPENING ON NOVEMBER 27, 2023; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
WHEREAS, the Project is identified as a Community Investment Program construction
project in the City of Anna, Texas; and,
WHEREAS, the project was publicly advertised in the Anna -Melissa Tribune and sealed
competitive bids were received digitally through IonWave, the City of Anna online
purchasing portal, on November 27, 2023, at 2pm in compliance with Local Government
Code Chapter 252, `Purchasing and Contracting Authority of Municipalities;" and,
WHEREAS, the City Council determined that it is in the best interest of the City to reject
all bids and re -bid the project; and,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANNA, TEXAS THAT:
Section 1. Recitals Incorporated
The recitals above are incorporated herein as if set forth in full for all purposes.
Section 2. Authorization of Payment and Funding.
That the City Council of the City of Anna hereby rejects all bids received on the November
27, 2023, bid opening for the Project.
That the City Council further directs the City Manager to direct staff to rebid the project.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of Anna, Texas on this
day of December 2023.
