Whereas, the City Council of the City of Anna, Texas is required to meet the general expenses and general
obligations indebtedness requirements of the City of Anna, Texas, and to carry out governmental functions
of the city for the fiscal year 2002-2003; and
Whereas, in order to meet such obligations an ad valorwn tax on all property real and personal within the
corporate limits must be collected.
1. An ad valonun tax on all property real and personal, within the corporate limits and not exempt by
the Constitution and laws of the State of Texas, shall be collected at a rate of $0.58 for each
$100.00 valuation.
2. The rate for debt service shall be $0.400488 for each $100.00 valuation.
3. The rate for maintenance and operation shall be $0.179512 for each $100.00 valuation.
4. This rate shall be collected until otherwise so designated by the City Council of the City of Anna.
RESOLVED this day the 10'h day of September, 2002, by the following vote of the City Council.
