A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANNA, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR AND FIRE CHIEE'F' TO EXECUTE ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF AN14A AN INTERLOCAL
COOPERATION AGREEM21T BETWEEN THE CITY OF MELISSA AND CITY OF ANNA FCR FIRE
PREVENTION/FIRE PROTECTION SEKVICES FOR THE CITY OF MELISSA.
WHEREAS, it is desirable and advantageous that the City of Anna, by and
through its city council designate the Mayor and the Fire Chief of the City of
Anna Fire Department as its authorized representatives to execute on and in
behalf of the City of Anna an INTERLOCAL COOPERATION AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE
CITY OF MELISSA .LAND THE CITY OF ANNA FOR FIRE PROTECTION/FIRE PREVENTION
SERVICES FOR THE CITY OF MELISSA, and
WHEREAS this designation will expedite the execution of said
agreement; and
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Anna,
Texas, THAT:
SECTION 1 The Fire Chief and the Mayor of the City of Anna, Texas
are hereby authorized to execute on behalf of the City of Anna that certain
agreement known as the INTERLOCAL COOPERATION AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF
MELISSA AND CITY OF ANNA FOR FIRE PROTECTION/PREVENTION SERVICES FOR THE CITY
OF MELISSA.
SECTION 11 : This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its
passage,
