A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THAT THE COUNTY OF COLLIN IN-
CLUDE THE CITY OF --7- AND ITS EXTRATERRITORIAL
JURISDICTION IN TIIE C LLIN COUNTY PRIVATE SEWAGE FACIL-
ITIES PERMITTING PROGRAM AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO ENTER INTO A COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT WITH THE COMMISSION-
ERS COURT FOR SAID PROGRAM.
WHEREAS, improperly installed and maintained private sewage facilities
pose a threat t the health and welfare of the citizens of
the City of and its extraterritorial juris-
diction: and,
WHEREAS, the County of Collin, Texas has adopted rules and procedures
for the installation, inspection and permitting of private
sewage facilities in its Court Order No. 83-194-4-4 in
accordance with rules and standards of the Texas Department
of Water Resources and the Texas Department of Health; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of , Texas has
determined that participation in the Collin County Private
Sewage Facilities Permitting Program is an effective means
of protecting the public health and welfare; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1: The Commissioners of the Cou ty of Collin are hereby requested
to include the City of 7 -ca and its Extraterri-
torial Jurisdiction in the Collin County Private Sewage
Facilities Permitting Program.
SECTION 2. An Official copy of this resolution shall be forwarded to
the Commissioners Court for their consideration.
SECTION 3. The City Manager is hereby authorized to enter into a
Cooperative Agreemen for participation said program.
