ANNA PARK BOARD MEETING
September 17, 2018
The Park Board of the City of Anna held a regular scheduled meeting on Monday,
September 17th, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. at the Community Room of Anna City Hall
Administration Building, located at 111 North Powell Parkway (Hwy 5), to consider the
following items.
1. Call to order and establishment of quorum
The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. Members present were Danna Ward,
Andrew Michrina, Ginny Finan, Kirby Barret, Aubrey Johnson and Judith Waldrop.
Staff present was Maurice Schwanke and Matt Lewis. Councilman Kevin Toten was
present at the meeting.
2. Consider/Discuss/Action on opening Natural Springs Park restroom time of
operation in the evenings and weekends. No action was taken on the agenda item.
3. Consider/Discuss/Action on any park facility or proposal.
Updates included Lake View Park, the Depot and plans for a dog park at Slayter
Creek Park. Fabian, a student visitor, gave a brief presentation of what he would
like to see at the skate park by showing copies of pictures he had taken. Mr.
Schwanke presented a concept plan for a dog park at Slayter Creek Park. A motion
was made by Judith Waldrop, seconded by Ginny Finan to moved forward to
advance plans discussed for the dog park. Motion Carried
4. Park Minutes- August 20, 2018.
A motion was made by Judith Waldrop, seconded by Andrew Michrina to approve
the August 20th, minutes.
5. Adjourn
A motion was made by Ginny Finan, seconded by Judith Waldrop to adjourn the
meeting. The meeting adjourned at 8:37 p.m. Motion Carried
