A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ANNA, TEXAS APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING
THE CITY MANAGER TO FUND EARLY SITE WORK CONSTRUCTION PHASE
SERVICES, AS IDENTIFIED IN EXHIBIT A OF THE EXECUTED AIA A133-2009
CONTRACT BY AND BETWEEN THE CITY OF ANNA, TEXAS AND LEE LEWIS
CONSTRUCTION, INCORPORATED, FOR THE MUNICIPAL COMPLEX FOR THE
CITY OF ANNA IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED ONE MILLION NINE HUNDRED
ELEVEN THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED NINETY THREE DOLLARS AND ZERO CENTS
($1,911,193.00), AS SHOWN IN EXHIBIT "1" ATTACHED HERETO, AND PROVIDING
FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City of Anna contracted with Lee Lewis Construction, Incorporated to be
the Construction Manager for the Municipal Complex for the City of Anna; and,
WHEREAS, the Construction Manager has completed a bid process and sub -contractor
selection for the early site work required for the project; and,
WHEREAS, the Early Site Work Construction phase budget is included as a component
of the overall Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) for the project; and,
WHEREAS, Municipal Complex Bond Funds shall be used to fund the total not to exceed
amount of $1,911,193.00.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANNA, TEXAS THAT:
Section 1. Recitals Incorporated
The recitals above are incorporated herein as if set forth in full for all purposes.
Section 2. Authorization of Funding.
That the City Manager is hereby authorized to fund the Early Sitework Construction Phase
Services as shown in Exhibit A of the executed AIA A133-2009 Contract, as shown in
Exhibit "1" attached hereto.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of Anna, Texas on this 10th
day of September 2019.
