A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ANNA, TEXAS AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO APPROVE PURCHASE ORDERS TO FUND PART I, ITEM 8 AND ITEM
9, OF A TASK ORDER FOR A STORMWATER MASTER PLAN TO BIRKHOFF
HENDRICKS AND CARTER, L.L.P. IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED TWENTY-FIVE
THOUSAND DOLLARS AND ZERO CENTS ($25,000.00); AND PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the completion of a stormwater utility study is included in the City Council's
Strategic Plan for the City of Anna, Texas; and,
WHEREAS, On March 27� 2018 the City Council of the City of Anna, Texas approved
Resolution 2018-03-422 to execute a task order with Birkhoff Hendricks and Carter, LLP
for a stormwater Master Plan Project; and,
WHEREAS, Birkhoff Hendricks and Carter, LLP previously completed portions of the
approved Task Order pertaining to the analysis of the City's drainage basins and the
development of a stormwater Master Plan; and,
WHEREAS, Part I, Item 8 and Item 9 of the Task Order will require funds in the amount
of $25,000.00 as shown in Exhibit "A" attached hereto; and,
WHEREAS, the project has been on hold for a period and the funds required to complete
Part I, Item 8 of the task order are no longer available; and,
WHEREAS, the funding source for the project shall be the Utility Fund; which shall be
reimbursed by a City of Anna stormwater Utility if one is created in the future; and,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANNA, TEXAS THAT:
Section 1. Recitals Incorporated
The recitals above are incorporated herein as if set forth in full for all purposes.
Section 2. Authorization of Contracts and Funding.
That the City Manager is hereby authorized to approve purchase orders in an amount not
to exceed $25,000.00
That said City funding portion shall come from the Utility Fund.
